With St. Patty’s around the corner, we feel like it’s time for you to get acquainted with one of our favorite local groups, The Howling Winds. That is, if you weren’t already familiar with their music/growing legion of followers. Originally named Fight Back!, the current lineup consisting of Jorge Rocha, Tyler Betances, Richie Vasta, and Derek Rosenbauer are band that invariably entertain all sorts of crowds, be it the folk/grassroots following or the Alternative punk crew (we hear a tinge of Against Me! in their sound, which, you know, is awesome).
Also, watch as Chris Video (of BFGF) mashes up some old school, new school, and oldish-newish school music videos. And of course, the Reckless Dames will be entertaining the St Patty’s debauchery with their bizarre yet risque burlesque acts. All in all, an epic night.
